Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It)
- As our CDL driver, you’ll be the captain of your rig and a crucial part of our production team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating a tractor-trailer combination, ensuring our client’s cargo arrives on time and in perfect condition.
- Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep your CMV in top shape.
- Being present and attentive during loading and unloading, working alongside stagehands and production crews.
- Communicating effectively with operations, tour staff, and fellow drivers to coordinate seamless deliveries.
- Maintaining accurate logs and paperwork to keep us in compliance and on schedule.
- Adapting to the ever-changing world of live events, where no two days are the same.
The Star We’re Looking For
To join our ensemble, you’ll need:
- A valid CDL with a clean MVR (max 1 violation in 3 years).
- 2 years of semi-truck experience (within the past 5 years), and Entertainment Touring Experience Preferred
- A valid Passport. Canadian travel is required
- A strong understanding of the entertainment industry and a willingness to be part of the team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
- A friendly, professional demeanor and strong communication skills. Multi-lingual skills are a benefit.
- Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading when necessary. You will be in the loading process, but the crew will do the heavy lifting.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays (because the show must go on!) There are no solar-powered drivers here.
The Road Ahead
- This isn’t your typical driving gig. You’ll embark on an adventure that will take you across all 48 contiguous states and into Canada. Be prepared for:
- Extended trips lasting months at a time, in all environments.
- The thrill of visiting new cities and iconic venues. You will be in the heart of cities and towns. There are no distribution centers and fewer truck stop dwellings.

Drive for Live Entertainment
Pioneer Production Transport seeks reliable part-time CDL drivers for live entertainment transportation. Join our team for an exciting opportunity in the industry.
The Role
As a part-time CDL driver, you’ll:
- Be available to replace drivers on tour. Short assignments while the logistics are worked out.
- Team drive for long-distance journeys. Occasionally, the trip is farther than a solo driver can log in for a day.
- Perform local cartage or deliveries in the Nashville, TN area.
